2. Verify the Ublox Virtual COM port is listed in the Device Manager

Right click on the Computer Icon, and click Manage

Once in Device Manager, click on Ports (COM &

LPT)

Verify that you have an entry for the u-blox 5 GPS

and GALILEO Receiver (COM X)

Note the COM Port number.

3. Start the u-center application from the desktop

When the program opens it will communicate

with the GPS module, and list the COM port that

it is communicating on at the bottom of the

screen. Here is a partial screen shot of that

program.

If it does not find the GPS, you can check the

green button shown below to choose the COM

port.
